SWANK MOTION PICTURES WILL HOST COPYRIGHT WORKSHOP AT ANNUAL NORTH AMERICAN CHRISTIAN CONVENTION IN JULY
St. Louis, MO, June 29, 2011 -- -- Swank Motion Pictures will host an educational copyright workshop for church leaders at this year’s annual North American Christian Convention (NACC) in Cincinnati, OH. Swank will also be a first-time exhibitor at this conference, which will be held from July 5 to July 8, 2011.
Swank will present “Reaffirm Your Organizations Mission with Movies…And Do It Legally!” in a one-hour workshop on Wednesday, July 6. The purpose of the presentation is to educate church leaders on the need for public performance licensing for movie screenings. The workshop is free and open to all conference attendees. Swank will also be exhibiting at the conference, and will attend NACC’s conference sessions throughout the week in order to learn about more opportunities to serve the faith-based community.
Swank is attending NACC for the first time in an effort to provide ministry leaders in the Christian community with easy access to information regarding the copyright law, and to give them movie programming ideas to bring their congregations and communities together. The NACC is expecting to draw 8,000 church leaders from around the U.S. at this annual summer conference.
Founded in 1937 and headquartered in St. Louis, Swank Motion Pictures works with churches throughout the country to provide them with a public performance license for outdoor family movie events, community outreach programs and Vacation Bible School movie nights.
