SWANK HEALTHCARE PROVIDES ACCREDIDATION SERVICES TO MEDICAL PERSONNEL FOR THE ANNUAL TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY SUMMIT
National Harbor, Maryland, August 29, 2011– Swank HealthCare was the accreditation provider for the Saint Louis School of Medicine at the Fifth Annual Defense and Veterans Traumatic Brain Injury Summit on August 21-24, 2011.
The summit took place at the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, Maryland. More than 1,000 physicians, nurses, social workers and allied health professionals attended the event. These participants are responsible for the care of military personnel who are affected by traumatic brain injuries.
The keynote address was given by LTG Eric B. Schoomaker, M.D., Ph.D., Surgeon General/Commander and U.S. Army Medical Command. Over 100 other faculty and specialists presented at the summit to help make it a success.
The attendees received Continuing Medical Education (CME) for their participation. Swank HealthCare and the Saint Louis School of Medicine have created an educational partnership to provide additional continuing education services for government related CME/CE.
