Synopsis
Following a cataclysmic world war, the leading world powers outlaw emotion, believing that doing so will reduce the chances of another conflict. Thought-police known as Clerics are sent to enforce the law and put offenders to death. When one Cleric accidentally misses a dose of the drug which suppresses his emotions, he begins to reconsider his role in the fight against expression.
