Synopsis

In 2014, Russian forces inexplicably invaded Ukraine. On the rural border between the two nations, a struggling Ukranian family watches the conflict unfold in real-time. Despite her husband's insistence to flee, Ikra makes her position clear that she will not leave her home and their livelihood, even when armed Russian troops invade and take control of their village. The narrative is inspired by true events.
