Synopsis

An aspiring writer finds her world teetering on the brink of madness when she attends the court trial of a notorious serial killer and unsettlingly persuasive cult leader. During the trial, she endures a frenzied attack at the man's hands and, in the traumatic aftermath of her recovery, begins to peel back the layers of influence he exerts over his devoted followers.
