Synopsis

Oscar-nominated Best Picture about a divorcée (Best Actress nominee Marsha Mason) with a young daughter, and an arrogant aspiring actor (Oscar winner Richard Dreyfuss) who sublets her apartment from her former boyfriend, unbeknownst to her. Neil Simon's screenplay was also Oscar-nominated, as was supporting actress Quinn Cummings as Mason's little girl. Patricia Heaton and Jeff Daniels starred in a 2004 cable remake.
