Synopsis
Barbra Streisand (who also directed) portrays a Manhattan psychiatrist who gets involved with her patient's brother and tries to exorcise the demons of their dysfunctional Southern family. An adaptation of the novel by Pat Conroy (who co-adapted with Becky Johnston).
