Comedian and satirist Bill Maher is back for Season 18 of his long-running, award-winning HBO comedy/talk series Real Time with Bill Maher – with 35 live editions scheduled to air in 2020. Offering Maher’s unique, unfiltered perspective on contemporary hot-button issues, each edition includes an opening monologue, roundtable discussions with panelists, interviews with guests and Maher’s “New Rules” segment exposing partisan hypocrisies on both sides of the political aisle. As always, Maher and his rotating panel of guests – including actors, activists, politicians, musicians, comedians and more – will dissect the week’s news in Washington and around the world, bringing a strong dose of humor and skepticism to the critical issues of our time. With the country entering the final lap of the 2020 presidential election cycle, Real Time will be there to take us through all the ups and downs leading to November 3 – as the fate of our nation’s democracy hangs in the balance.
