Synopsis
A young John Lennon (Aaron Johnson) goes to live with his aunt Mimi, since his mother Julia is an irresponsible parent. He clashes with Mimi's strict rules, but the two love each other deeply. As a teen, John reconnects with Julia and discovers the joys of rock and roll, which leads him to form a band with pal Paul McCartney. Directed by Sam Taylor-Wood.
