Synopsis
Wyatt Cenac returns to HBO for Season 2 of his critically lauded late-night docuseries Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas. Helmed by the Emmy®- and WGA Award-winning comedian and writer, the series covers a wide range of social and cultural issues, from the trivial to the impactful. With an eye toward solutions, the focal point of the new season’s ten episodes is a documentary-style field report that takes Wyatt around the country, where he investigates systemic issues through his unique perspective. Each show also features Wyatt exploring lighter topics, as well as his in-studio commentary on current events. In S1, Wyatt explored issues like banking deserts, solar energy, and teachers’ strikes – and took an in-depth look at the state of policing in America, travelling to different cities to see how individual communities are handling this complex issue.
