Synopsis

During the Cold War era, a Russian cosmonaut returns to earth after surviving a space accident. However, his military superiors found that an alien being is lodged inside of his body. They tap a controversial young doctor to assess his condition. As the alien creature manifests itself, the doctor and the military develop conflicting approaches regarding the alien situation.
