Synopsis

From Emmy®-winning director Geeta Gandbhir and award-winning documentarian, journalist, author, and activist Soledad O’Brien, this four-part documentary series follows Black and Missing Foundation founders and sisters-in-law Derrica and Natalie Wilson as they fight an uphill battle to bring awareness to the disappearances of people of color, whose cases are systematically marginalized by both law enforcement and national media. Three years in the making, Black and Missing takes on new urgency given the renewed national conversation on how biases stem from centuries of deeply rooted racism. Intimate and moving, the series also highlights the resolution of several high-profile missing persons cases, offering hope and inspiration for those still searching.
