Synopsis
Lea (Michelle Pfeiffer) is a retired courtesan in 19th-century Paris. She begins an affair with Chéri (Rupert Friend), the hedonistic son of her friend Charlotte (Kathy Bates), who is also a former courtesan. Charlotte attempts to end their relationship by arranging a marriage between her son and an innocent virgin. Directed by Stephen Frears. Felicity Jones, Iben Hjejle, Anita Pallenberg.
