Synopsis

Shenxiu, whose mother abandoned her at a young age, boards a cruise with her father, stepmother, and half-siblings on her birthday. But they don't even seem aware since the only birthday wish she gets is from her cell phone company. Ignored, she turns to a fantastical story her mother told her about the Hijinx, a beast that will grant a wish on a birthday. After making a wish, Shenxiu is surprised to see the Hijinx appear and begins a magical journey to find her mother.
