Synopsis

Violet dreams of landing the lead in the musical Ballroom Rhythm and begs her new crush, charismatic instructor Petro Saenko, to teach her every Latin dance in one month. But pressure from her depressed, critical mother leads to a devastating car accident that leaves Violet paraplegic. Lost in depression, she slowly relearns how to live in a wheelchair with the help of her therapists. With Petro's encouragement, Violet begins dancing again and attempts her final callback for Ballroom Rhythm—only to be turned away. Meanwhile, Petro trains for the Champions Cup with his ex-girlfriend and studio co-owner, Emery Madson, whose jealousy flares as Violet grows closer. Violet spirals and sabotages her audition. Petro begs forgiveness, and Violet realizes she must love herself before she can accept love from others. Violet convinces Petro to compete with her at the Champions Cup, where they win over the crowd—and Violet earns a guaranteed performance in Ballroom Rhythm, reclaiming her dream.
