Plan a series of events, including film screenings, guest lectures and art exhibitions that celebrate African-American history and culture. Collaborate with student organizations to organize performances, poetry slams and open mic nights.

The professor set up the film by framing the movie within the context of what was happening in the nation at that time. February 13th 

Host a day of self-care and empowerment for college women. Offer workshops on self-defense, self-care routines and body positivity. And, of course, screen movies featuring strong, female leads.

February 14th 

Organize a speed dating event or a matchmaking game where students can meet new people. Host a romantic movie marathon and provide Valentine's Day-themed snacks and treats.
