Synopsis
David Lean's epic Best Picture about British Army lieutenant T.E. Lawrence, who galvanized the Arab revolt against the Turks in World War I, endured indignities from his Turkish captors and eventually led his forces to a number of smashing victories. The film won a total of seven Academy Awards, including director, cinematography, editing and score.
