Synopsis

It is commonly believed that the underwater world is an endless Garden of Eden, with fabulously shaped corals and thousands of multi-colored fish. However, coral reefs are only found in shallow coastal areas and only in waters that are warm enough. The breathtaking sights produce a false image of the underwater world. In our underwater journey we will take you to places most divers don't usually see - Indonesia (Lembeh), the Philippines (Anilao), and Indonesia (Ambon, Bali). They are perfect for observing how the various species have developed, through evolution, their own unique and surprising ways of adapting to their environment. The fish that live here don't resemble fish at all. Some look like strange frogs, some like dragons, and some like stones on the sea floor or parts of coral reefs. We are also in for a meeting with the most intelligent invertebrate, the only known sea species that has mastered the skill of putting things away for later use.
