Synopsis

In this groundbreaking musical documentary, the nuances of Black adolescence and surviving institutional violence are explored through the musically inclined students at Philadelphia's Pine Forge Academy. The choir students attend the school at a time when anti-blackness is rising, and a fatal virus is sweeping the world. Using the arts, the students brave the fractured world around them.
