Synopsis
This story follows Artie Crawford, an elderly Irish man living in a care home. The seventy-fifth anniversary of the Normandy D-Day landings is approaching, and Artie decides to trek to the commemoration site in France to face lingering ghosts of his past. However, he didn't alert anyone of his journey, creating a small panic at the home and the people who cared for him. This British drama is loosely based on the true events of a World War II veteran's journey to make peace with his past.
