Synopsis

Maria (Isabelle Huppert), the owner of a coffee plantation in a volatile African country, refuses to abandon her land, despite the threat of a rebel militia attempting to take over the country and the pleas of her ex-husband (Christopher Lambert) to flee to Europe.
