Synopsis

Pod Save America, the smash-hit podcast that has been downloaded more than 270 million times since its launch in January 2017, is being adapted for HBO this fall in four hour-long specials. Podcast hosts Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Dan Pfeiffer and Tommy Vietor – each of whom was a top White House staffer in the Obama administration – will be joined on the campaign trail by journalists, politicians and activists for freewheeling conversations about politics, the press, and the continuing challenges posed by the Trump presidency. A political show that is both funny and informative, each edition will be taped shortly before airing in front of a live audience at four locations across the country: South Florida, Pittsburgh, Southern California, and Austin, TX.
