Synopsis
The Marx Brothers spoof the opera world as a penny-ante promoter promises to arrange entrance into high society for a wealthy dowager if she antes up $200,000 as a patron of the arts. Plenty of gags and music. Watch for the famed "stateroom scene," where untold amounts of people squeeze into tiny quarters on a ship.
