May Movie Programming

We’re so excited to be a part of your school programming calendar! There’s no limit to how our movie license can be used in your school to further engage students and their families. Find some of our top picks for pairing new releases and throwback hits with obvious – and not-so-obvious – holiday celebrations below.

Family Engagement:
International Day of Families (May 15)

Plan a Family Fun Fest series that highlights a hands-on learning theme – like kindness, fitness or multiculturalism! Make sure to include activities that will entertain the entire family, including live music, face painting and a family-friendly flick!

Reward Days/Fundraising:
End-of-Year Celebrations

Kickoff summer in the best way with outdoor water games and capped off with a family-friendly film! Water balloons, water shooters, water relay races, bubble blowing, slip ‘n slides and more are all great options. Students are sure to work up an appetite, so have waterproof snacks available, like apples, watermelon, popsicles, and carrot and celery sticks.

Seasonal:
Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

AAPI culture and cuisine is as diverse as its people. Help your school community better understand the rich culture and history of the AAPI community by inviting with food and crafts before the show. To make it as authentic of an experience as possible, ask any AAPI members from within your community to help lead the programming. Ideas include a food potluck, Japanese Carp Kites, Diwali elephants or a bubble tea workshop.
