Synopsis

Filmmaker Scott Hamilton Kennedy documents the two-and-a-half-year court battle to save South Central Farm, a 14-acre community garden in Los Angeles, from being shut down. Following the disastrous riots of 1992, the city government funded the building of a community garden located on a stretch of land previously known for its litter and discarded syringes. Despite several years of prosperity, the garden was slated to be bulldozed in 2003.
