Synopsis

Sermon on the Mount, the second special from HBO favorite Jerrod Carmichael that explores aspects of the black experience through interviews with his family and friends premieres in June. “I went to North Carolina to hear what the people I love found most important,” says Carmichael. “The conversations I had in Home Videos led to an exploration of religion and my mother’s contentment in Sermon on the Mount.”
