Synopsis

Postwar Vietnam is the setting of director Tony Bui's story of five very different characters trying to deal with a changing country. One tale involves a prostitute and a rickshaw driver who admires her. The film also follows a boy who sells gum and cigarettes, and a newcomer who sells flowers. Finally, there's a former soldier (Harvey Keitel) who returns to find the daughter he left behind.
