Synopsis

A woman with bipolar disorder, whose out-of-control behavior lands her in prison, is treated and released on good behavior. She returns to her hometown in rural Iowa to right her wrong, but clashes with her family and her 12-year-old daughter who were happy to have her out of their lives. As she struggles to put her life in order, her self-worth and well-being is tested to the limit.
