Synopsis
At the dawn of the California Gold Rush, Angel finds herself embarking on a journey to find herself and her freedom. With a tough past behind her, she is not able to recognize the good intentions Michael Hosea has for her the first time they meet. Michael refuses to give up on her, and slowly, she begins to open up. As she begins to heal from the wounds of her former life, she starts to see what Michael sees in her.
