Synopsis
Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy, in one of their eight screen pairings, are a Broadway couple appearing in a long-running production who agree to stage a breakup for publicity purposes. The film is loosely based on the Victor Herbert operetta and co-scripted by Dorothy Parker and her real-life husband Alan Campbell.
