‘No Hard Feelings’ Delights Audiences

Columbia Pictures' latest release, "No Hard Feelings," starring Jennifer Lawrence, Andrew Barth Feldman, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, and Matthew Broderick, is a racy R-rated comedy that has audiences laughing out loud. Directed by Gene Stupnitsky, the film tells the story of Maddie, a 32-year-old female Uber driver struggling to save her inherited home in Montauk from bankruptcy.

Maddie finds herself in dire straits after her car is repossessed while attempting to pay off property taxes on her mother's house. In a last-ditch effort to salvage her home, she responds to a peculiar Craigslist ad. The offer: "date" a rich couple’s 19-year-old son Percy, who lacks experience with girls, parties, drinking or even life in general, to boost his confidence before he heads to Princeton in the fall.  In exchange, Maddie will receive a Buick Regal.

Jennifer Lawrence delivers a long-awaited comedic performance in "No Hard Feelings." Known for her dramatic roles, Lawrence showcases her biting humor and impeccable comic timing, earning praise from critics. The Arizona Republic commends Lawrence, stating, "She finally gets an opportunity to show off her comedic chops and executes it with years of dramatic acting in her bag."

San Francisco Chronicle describes the film as a perfect vehicle for Lawrence's talents, stating, "’No Hard Feelings’ is everything you like about Jennifer Lawrence brought together in one movie and then magnified: her down-to-earth irreverence, her comic timing, her idiosyncratic naturalness, and her unexpected sensitivity."

The film's R-rated content and its edgy premise have earned it an 88 percent Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes.
