Congrats to the 2026 Golden Globe Winners!

The 2026 Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday, January 12 in Los Angeles. Comedian Nikki Glaser returned as host, following her hit performance last year. The ceremony blended sharp humor with heartfelt recognition, setting the tone for a vibrant awards season ahead.
Among the standout winners at this year’s Globes were several titles from the Swank On-Board Movies catalog – honoring storytelling that resonates with broad audiences and critics alike.
At the top of the night’s film honors, Warner Bros.’ “One Battle After Another” secured four awards in total. Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Directed and co-written by Paul Thomas Anderson, the darkly comic drama took home awards for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actress for Teyana Taylor.
In drama categories, Focus Features’ “Hamnet” took home Best Motion Picture – Drama, anchored by a powerful performance from Jessie Buckley. Her Best Actress win highlighted the film’s emotional depth and its resonance with both audiences and awards voters.
Among individual accolades, A24’s “Marty Supreme” brought home Best Actor – Musical or Comedy for Timothée Chalamet, affirming the indie studio’s continued strength in character-driven cinema. Likewise, A24’s dark comedy “If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You” earned Best Actress – Musical or Comedy for Rose Byrne.
Neon, the independent distributor known for bold international and art-house films, also scored notable wins. Wagner Moura won Best Actor – Drama for “The Secret Agent,” which also won Best Non-English Language Film. Stellan Skarsgård took home Best Supporting Actor for "Sentimental Value.”
On the television side, HBO Max’s medical drama “The Pitt” earned Best Television Series – Drama, along with Best Actor in a Television Series – Drama for Noah Wyle. And longtime favorite Jean Smart once again won Best Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for her role in “Hacks.”
