Synopsis

When a massive 7.1 magnitude earthquake strikes, the homestead is left fending for its survival. Devastating landslides have covered vital access roads, closing off the homestead. Otto, Eivin, August and Charlotte fight to re-open road access while Eve makes earthquake preparedness kits for the family in case another quake hits the homestead. Atz Lee still struggles with his near-death fall from a cliff. In an attempt to regain his mental and physical strength, he sets his sights on building a new homestead from scratch. With the aid of his father, Atz, Sr., they must leave now to take advantage of the hard snow-packed terrain before it melts and the land is inaccessible.
