Synopsis

Imagine the most grueling hike you've ever taken. Now imagine doing that in -30 degree weather for almost two months in the most desolate place on Earth where everything you encounter is trying to kill you. Follow adventurers Eric Larsen and Ryan Waters as they attempt an epic ski expedition to the North Pole. Over the course of their journey, they contend with dangerous storms, hungry polar bears, fuel and food shortages, injury, and rapidly thinning ice. They do this all unaided and unsupported - they pull everything needed to survive in two 300-pound sleds with only their own manpower. Eric, one of the world's most accomplished polar explorers, and Ryan, a veteran mountaineer and guide, struggle to survive the dynamic, changing nature of this hostile landscape.
