Synopsis
In this episode Eddie, a winemaker, is spirited around Taiwan by Janet to experience up close the unique wine culture of Taiwan. Their first stop is the gigantic statue of Matsu in Nangan Island and Tunnel 88 where they also brew their own classic old wine. Next, they go out to sea to catch their own fresh seafood for dinner. They visit a little known part of the Taiwan food scene - a cheese-making ranch in Miaoli. After learning about the ways of making and cutting cheese, they head towards Cjwine Wine Village in Yilan for delicacies, cheese and wine. The next day they experience the traditional way of catching rice-paddy eels in Changhua and sip wine brewed from rice-paddy eel! Finally, they arrive at Fusing Township, Taoyuan, for the indigenous blessing rituals and experience first-hand the tribe's foxtail millet wine brewing.
