Synopsis

Nate and Jeremiah help a family of four with their alarming living situation. The homeowners, Brenda and Scott, have lived in their own construction zone for years because they are unable to make crucial decisions regarding their home. Not only does the family cook everything off of hotplates, they have been living in their cluttered garage for well over a year. And despite being an eyesore to the neighborhood, the house is also a hazard for the two young sons, who Brenda feels are too adventurous for such an unsafe environment. Nate and Jeremiah surprise Brenda and Scott with an in-home visit and the couple is overwhelmed with relief. Before the renovations can start, the designers themselves must move into their own rental home in Los Angeles with their baby daughter, Poppy. Because their house is all over the place architecturally, the designers really have to brainstorm to find the right style for homeowners. Their solution is to create a Belgian Countryside aesthetic that they believe will blend perfectly with the layout of the house and the budget they were given.
