Synopsis
A profile of Oscar-winning screenwriter Dalton Trumbo (1905-76), who was blacklisted by the House Un-American Activities Committee in the 1950s. He continued to write under assumed names and won an Academy Award (as Robert Rich) for his script for 1956's "The Brave One." The film is based on the play by Trumbo's son, Christopher Trumbo, and features readings by Joan Allen, Nathan Lane, Donald Sutherland, Paul Giamatti and Liam Neeson. Directed by Peter Askin.
