Synopsis
The fourth remake of Anthony Hope's swashbuckling adventure stars Stewart Granger as both the prince of a Ruritanian country and his impersonator, a British citizen who winds up being crowned king after the real royal is poisoned and left in a coma. Lewis Stone, who plays the Cardinal, had the lead role in the 1922 silent version of the tale.
