Synopsis
A beautiful, young Portuguese widow (Sofia Milos) in New England is wooed by a professional gambler (Jason Isaacs) in this pleasant romantic comedy about culture clash. The cinematography by Claudio Rocha nicely captures the charms of seaside New Bedford, Mass. Travel writer Stephen Jermanok co-scripted; Dan Ireland directed.
