Will your streaming platform negatively affect our bandwidth?
No. In fact, we are even able to save it by supplying a local server – either physically or virtually.
If you opt for a cloud deployment, our platform still utilizes Adaptive Bitrate (ABR) streaming technology to prevent buffering due to network congestion.
How secure is your service?
The security of every hospital’s information is front-of-mind, with options to deploy our on premise server in a DMZ or on a VLAN. In addition, our streaming platform only layers on top of your MyChart® Bedside application as a plug-in, with no technical integration necessary, or user data collected or stored.
How long does setup take?
While this depends on the type of deployment – i.e. a local server or cloud – we are able to go live in 30-days or less.
What if I want to show entertainment content on my television?
You have the option to include a linear Television Channel to play a customized, pre-scheduled mix of the same Hollywood content to create a wholesome, passive experience – perfect for waiting areas and lobbies, or for patients who are unable to hold or navigate a device.
