Synopsis

Anthropologist Thor Heyerdahl's account of the two voyages he made in 1969 and 1970 to cross the Atlantic in a papyrus-reed boat. Heyerdahl and Roscoe Lee Browne narrate this chronicle, which shows the crew of the RA confronting such perils as hurricanes, sharks and structural defects of the craft.
