Synopsis

A slapsticky sitcom about a wife scheming to break into her husband's business (newspapering), `Debbie' was thematically similar to `I Love Lucy' in several respects, and was in fact created by `Lucy' producer Jess Oppenheimer. But viewers didn't love this show nearly as much, and it was canceled after just one season.
