Synopsis
Diverting and entertaining musical romance between a talented Irish singer-songwriter (Glen Hansard) who plays for money on Dublin streets, and the lovely immigrant Czech pianist (Marketa Irglova) with whom he makes beautiful music. Features an excellent soundtrack of songs, many penned by Hansard and Irglova. Written and directed by John Carney, who once played bass in Hansard's band, the Frames. Geoff Minogue, Bill Hodnett, Danuse Ktrestova.
