Synopsis
Biography of legendary country singer Hank Williams Sr. charts his short life through his guitar-strumming boyhood, his meteoric rise to fame with the hit title song, his appearances at the Grand Ole Opry and his subsequent battles with the bottle, to his death at age 29. Star George Hamilton's singing is dubbed by a 15-year-old Hank Williams Jr.
